Occupations that could be dropped in 2017
Each year the occupations that are listed as being ‘in-demand’ are reviewed.
Some occupations are removed or dropped from the SOL after this review. You can expect occupations to be dropped with forecasts of of an adequate supply of skilled labour in Australian employment market for the specific occupation.
The SOL is updated each year, and dropped occupations would not be available from July 2017 onwards.
There is no guarantee any of the occupations will be dropped, but they have all been reviewed, and some will very likely be removed. Get your EOI into Skillselect as soon as possible in the 1st half of 2017.
